The new 2023 Lincoln Corsair: A tradition of elegance continues

The Lincoln Corsair is the most popular Lincoln model of all and with good reason. It's attractively packaged with an entry-level crossover price and it comes with a 2023 mid-cycle update. This Lincoln Corsair comes with an elevated demeanor on the road and its upscale cabin can peacefully co-exist with its more expensive Lincoln partners. Here's a look at what makes the Lincoln Corsair so popular with so many of our customers at Pacifico Marple Lincoln in Broomall PA.

What's new for 2023?

Lincoln's most compact SUV gets a light makeover for 2023 that includes exterior lighting elements, a re-designed grille and new wheel designs. Lincoln applied a fresh satin metallic exterior trim to the plug-in hybrid Grand Touring model to signify its position at the top of the Lincoln Corsair lineup. There is now a larger 13.2-inch infotainment display that comes standard and there's also a newly standard 12.3-inch digital gauge display. The Corsair's climate controls have been re-worked and so has the center console.

Trim levels in the new Lincoln Corsair

The latest edition of the Lincoln Corsair keeps things simple for our Philadelphia and Norristown, PA buyers with just three trims to choose from:

  •   Standard
  • Reserve
  • Grand Touring

If you are considering the entry-level Lincoln, it makes sense to consider the entry-level Standard version of the new Lincoln Corsair. But it's not a big step to move up to the Reserve trim. That's where you can get attractive features like a hands-free power liftgate, fog lamps, 19-inch wheels, satellite radio, in-dash navigation, and a Revel stereo system with 14 speakers.

Other tasty delights include a power-adjustable steering column, genuine wood interior trim and heated front seats covered in genuine Bridge of Weir leather. The top-level Grand Touring model is where you'll get a satin metallic exterior trim with blue accents.

Engines and performance

The base-level engine for the 2023 Lincoln Corsair is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 250 horsepower and you'll find that power plant on the Standard and Reserve trims. You can get an 8-speed automatic transmission standard along with front-wheel drive, or you can move up to the all-wheel drive system for extra traction. The all-wheel drive version of the Corsair with the turbo-four engine can run from zero to 60 mph in just 6.1 seconds. The plug-in hybrid model can make the same run in 7.0 seconds.

Fuel economy

The front-wheel drive version of the new Lincoln Corsair will give you 22 MPG on city streets and 29 MPG on the highway according to the EPA. If you go with all-wheel drive, your city fuel efficiency slips only a little to 21 MPG. The plug-in hybrid, of course, is the best money-saver of all with 34 MPG in the city and 32 MPG on highways around King of Prussia and Phoenixville PA.

Interior comfort and cargo space

The Lincoln Corsair surrounds you with a handsomely-styled cabin that lives up to the high standard established for the entire Lincoln lineup. Inside this distinctive SUV you'll find optional adjustable ambient lighting, 24-way power-adjustable seats, a head-up display and the luxury of genuine leather upholstery. There's also an app available that lets you lock, unlock and start the vehicle from your smartphone.

Infotainment technology

The Lincoln Sync4 infotainment system comes standard and it's managed by a big 13.2-inch touch screen. A 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster makes your driving easier and safer. Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are included and you can upgrade to a Revel stereo system with 14 speakers. Test drive the new 2023 Lincoln Corsair at Pacifico Marple Lincoln in Broomall PA.
